Position Overview:

 

As a Agent at The Diverse Agency, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and representing LGBTQ talent in the entertainment industry. You will work closely with performers, artists, and content creators of the community to secure meaningful opportunities, build their careers, and promote positive representation.

Responsibilities:

 

• Booking

We look for fitting locations for our talent to perform and make sure that they shine their light where they can.

• Talent Representation

Identify, sign, and manage LGBTQ talent, including actors, musicians, dancers, models, writers, and other creative professionals.

• Career Development

Develop customized career plans for each talent, identifying short-term and long-term goals, and working towards achieving them.

• Networking

Build and maintain strong relationships with casting directors, producers, directors, studios, and other industry professionals to secure auditions, roles, and opportunities for LGBTQ talent.

• Advocacy

Advocate for LGBTQ representation and inclusion in the entertainment industry, promoting diversity and awareness.

• Client Relationships

Build trust and strong relationships with talent, providing guidance, support, and mentorship throughout their careers.​
 

 

Qualifications:

 

• Telepathic Powers

Must be able to predict the next big star’s career trajectory without any prior information or auditions. Crystal ball not included.

• Superhuman Patience

Capable of waiting for hours on end during talent shows & auditions without falling asleep.

• Infinite Rolodex

A contact list so extensive that it includes ET’s agent, the Loch Ness Monster’s publicist, and Bigfoot’s manager.

• Crisis Management Expertise

Experience in handling diva meltdowns, wardrobe malfunctions, and the occasional alien abduction with grace and poise.
